Travel Itinerary

Day 1 – September 18: Arrival in Tokyo

  • Transfer from the airport to the hotel in Tokyo.
  • Accommodation in double rooms (1 or 2 beds) with private bathroom and breakfast included.
  • Free afternoon.

Day 2 – September 19: Tokyo

  • Breakfast at the hotel.

Today we’ll explore Tokyo with our Vrn-e Travel Planners guides, who will accompany the group throughout the day to make the experience more enjoyable and personal.

We’ll start in the Asakusa district, the heart of traditional Tokyo. We’ll visit the famous Sensō-ji Temple, stroll along the Nakamise-dori shopping street, and discover its charming little stores filled with history, kimonos, and typical sweets.

Next, we’ll take the subway to Akihabara, the vibrant district of electronics, video games, and anime, where you’ll have free time for lunch and to wander among its colorful shops.

In the afternoon, we’ll continue to Ginza, Tokyo’s elegant luxury shopping area, and then head to the artificial island of Odaiba, home to one of the most spectacular views of Tokyo Bay.

We’ll end the day at the iconic Shibuya Crossing —the busiest intersection in the world— and visit the famous statue of Hachiko, Japan’s beloved symbol of loyalty.

To wrap up the day in style, we’ll head up to Shibuya Sky (entrance included) just in time to watch the sunset over the city 🌇 —an unforgettable view of Tokyo.

Day 3 – September 20: Tokyo

In the morning, we’ll explore the lively Shinjuku district —a vibrant area that perfectly blends traditional temples, skyscrapers, and bustling alleyways.

We’ll begin at Shinjuku Juniso Kumano-jinja Shrine, a peaceful oasis surrounded by tall buildings, before heading to Kabukicho, Tokyo’s famous red-light district, known for its neon lights, cinemas, and themed shops.

We’ll point out some quirky cafés and restaurants in the area, and you’ll have free time to explore at your own pace —perhaps visit some unique stores or take a fun photo with the giant Godzilla head atop the Gracery Hotel.

As evening falls, we’ll dive into the narrow lanes of Omoide Yokocho and Golden Gai, two iconic spots that capture the spirit of Tokyo’s nightlife.

Here we’ll enjoy an included food tour, visiting three traditional izakayas (Japanese taverns) to taste a variety of yakitori (grilled skewers) and one drink per person at each stop.

An unforgettable night food experience in Shinjuku —the perfect way to end the day immersed in Tokyo’s authentic local flavor.

Day 4 - September 21: Tokyo - Hiroshima

In the morning, we’ll take the bullet train (Shinkansen) to Hiroshima, one of Japan’s most symbolic cities —a place that stands as a moving reminder of peace and resilience. The journey itself will be part of the experience: comfortable seats, changing landscapes, and the thrill of traveling aboard Japan’s legendary high-speed train.

Upon arrival, we’ll explore Hiroshima’s most meaningful landmarks: the Peace Memorial Park, the Peace Memorial Museum, and the Atomic Bomb Dome, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. This visit will be both powerful and deeply reflective.

We’ll then continue to Hiroshima Castle, also known as the “Carp Castle”, where we’ll enjoy panoramic views and learn more about the city’s remarkable reconstruction after the war.

In the afternoon, we’ll return to the hotel. The rest of the day is free to relax or explore the surroundings at your own pace.

Day 5 - September 22 - Hiroshima - Miyajima - Hiroshima

Today we’ll enjoy one of the most magical experiences of the trip. We’ll take a train and then a ferry to Miyajima Island, considered one of Japan’s three most scenic views.

Upon arrival, we’ll visit the Itsukushima Shrine, famous for its iconic floating torii gate that appears to rise from the sea at high tide. We’ll also stroll through the charming village streets, filled with traditional craft shops and stalls where you can taste the island’s famous fresh oysters and maple-leaf shaped cakes (momiji manju).

You’ll have free time to explore the trails of Mount Misen or simply soak in the peaceful atmosphere of the island before returning by ferry to Hiroshima.

In the afternoon, we’ll head back to the hotel for the night.

Day 6 - September 23: Hiroshima - Osaka

This morning, we’ll take the train to Osaka, the modern soul of the Kansai region.

The journey takes around 1 hour and 30 minutes.

Upon arrival, we’ll check in at our hotel and then begin exploring the city.

Afternoon – Umeda Sky Building & Kita District

We’ll start with a visit to the Umeda Sky Building, one of Japan’s most iconic skyscrapers (entrance included).

From its Floating Garden Observatory, you’ll enjoy a breathtaking 360° panoramic view over the entire city.

Afterwards, you’ll have free time to stroll through the Kita (Umeda) district, home to massive shopping centers like Grand Front Osaka and LUCUA, filled with local boutiques and creative cafés.

Free time – Osaka’s themed cafés and curiosities

In this area, you’ll also find some of Japan’s most unique cafés — like MiPig Café, where you can sip a coffee while petting adorable mini pigs 🐷.

We’ll show you a few of these quirky spots, and you’ll have time to explore them at your own pace.

As evening falls, we’ll head towards Shinsaibashi, Osaka’s most famous shopping street, bursting with lights, energy, and life.

We’ll continue to Dotonbori, the city’s most iconic area, known for its giant neon signs — including the legendary Glico running man.

We’ll cross the Ebisu Bridge to capture some of the best nighttime views of Osaka’s skyline.

Day 7 - September 24: Osaka

We’ll begin the day visiting the majestic Osaka Castle, one of Japan’s most iconic historical landmarks (entrance included).

We’ll climb to the top of its main tower to enjoy panoramic views of the city and learn more about the history of the shogunate.

Surrounding the castle is Osaka Castle Park, filled with scenic walking paths, ponds, and gardens — perfect for a peaceful stroll and beautiful photos.

Free time for lunch: we’ll recommend several nearby areas where travelers can enjoy Osaka’s vibrant cuisine — from sushi and ramen to beloved local street dishes such as okonomiyaki and takoyaki.

After lunch, we’ll visit Sumiyoshi Taisha Shrine, one of Japan’s oldest Shinto shrines, famous for its graceful red curved bridge (Sorihashi Bridge) and its distinctive traditional architecture.

Next, we’ll continue to the lively Kuromon Ichiba Market, a perfect place to experience the city’s daily life — tasting local specialties or simply soaking in the colorful and flavorful atmosphere.

We’ll end the day in Shinsekai, a nostalgic neighborhood that preserves the charm of the Showa era, full of neon lights, izakayas, and retro shops.

Entrance included to the Tsutenkaku Tower, where we’ll enjoy a stunning sunset view over Osaka. 🌇

Day 8 – September 25: Osaka

A full day of fun awaits at Universal Studios Japan, one of the most spectacular theme parks in the world —and an absolute must-see in Osaka (entrance included).

We’ll spend an unforgettable day exploring the park’s different themed areas: from The Wizarding World of Harry Potter, with its magical Hogwarts Castle, to Super Nintendo World, Jurassic Park, Minion Park, and many more.

You’ll have free time to enjoy the attractions at your own pace, watch live shows, try Japanese snacks inspired by popular movies, and discover every corner of this cinematic universe.

At the end of the day, we’ll return to our hotel in Osaka.

Day 9 – September 26: Osaka – Kyoto

In the morning, we’ll take the train to Kyoto, Japan’s former imperial capital — a city that has preserved the essence of traditional Japan like no other.

Upon arrival, we’ll check in at our hotel and leave our luggage before beginning our exploration of the city.

We’ll start with a pleasant walk along the Kamogawa River, a favorite meeting spot for locals, before heading to the charming Gion district, famous for its cobblestone streets and traditional teahouses where geishas can still be seen walking gracefully.

We’ll continue along the iconic Hanamikoji Street, reaching Yasaka Shrine (entrance included) and Chion-in Temple(entrance included), one of the most important temples in Japanese Buddhism.

After a lunch break (free time to enjoy one of the many traditional or modern restaurants in the area), we’ll head to the historic Higashiyama district to visit the magnificent Kiyomizu-dera Temple (entrance included), a UNESCO World Heritage Site. From its wooden terrace, we’ll admire one of Kyoto’s most iconic views.

Day 10 – September 27: Kyoto - Arashiyama - Kyoto

In the morning, we’ll head to Arashiyama, one of Kyoto’s most picturesque and peaceful districts.

We’ll begin by visiting the Togetsukyo Bridge, a symbol of the area offering beautiful views of the Katsura River and the surrounding mountains (free entrance).

Next, we’ll wander through the enchanting Arashiyama Bamboo Grove, one of Japan’s most iconic and photographed landscapes (free entrance).

We’ll then visit Tenryu-ji Temple (entrance included), a UNESCO World Heritage Site renowned for its beautiful Zen gardens and traditional architecture.

To end our tour, we’ll hike up to the Iwatayama Monkey Park (entrance included), where we can observe monkeys in their natural habitat while enjoying panoramic views over the city and its surroundings.

Free time to explore the area’s charming cafés and unique restaurants before returning to Kyoto.

Day 11 – September 28: Kyoto - Nara - Kyoto

In the morning, we’ll travel to Nara, Japan’s first permanent capital and home to ancient temples and sacred deer.

Our visit will begin at Todai-ji Temple (entrance included), famous for its Great Buddha and its impressive wooden architecture — one of Japan’s greatest cultural treasures.

We’ll stroll through Nara Park, where deer roam freely among visitors (free entrance). You’ll be able to interact with these gentle animals — considered messengers of the gods — and capture unforgettable photos.

Next, we’ll head to Kasuga Taisha Shrine (entrance included), known for its hundreds of stone and bronze lanterns that create a magical, timeless atmosphere.

After a lunch break (free time to enjoy one of the traditional restaurants in the area), you’ll have time to explore downtown Nara, browse local shops, and enjoy the city at your own pace before returning to Kyoto.

Day 12 – September 29: Kyoto

In the morning, we’ll visit the Fushimi Inari Taisha Shrine (entrance included), world-famous for its thousands of red torii gates that form mesmerizing pathways through the forest. Visiting early allows us to enjoy this magical place in a peaceful atmosphere before the crowds arrive.

Next, we’ll head to the Nintendo Museum (entrance included) — a fantastic stop for video game enthusiasts and anyone curious about the history of this iconic Japanese brand.

We’ll then enjoy a pleasant walk through the Higashiyama district, passing along the charming Sannenzaka and Ninenzaka streets, lined with traditional wooden houses, artisan shops, and cozy cafés.

Our route will continue through Hanamikoji-dori, the most famous street in Gion, where geishas and maikos (apprentice geishas) still work today. It’s the perfect place for photos and for soaking up Kyoto’s historical atmosphere.

Free time for lunch in the area, with plenty of options ranging from local eateries to contemporary restaurants.

Day 13 – September 30: Kyoto - Tokyo

In the morning, we’ll take the train from Kyoto to Tokyo. During the journey, you’ll be able to relax and enjoy the beautiful Japanese scenery — the perfect moment to unwind after several days of exploration.

Upon arrival in Tokyo, we’ll check in at the hotel and leave our luggage before starting our free afternoon.

Free afternoon for shopping and personal exploration: wander through lively districts such as Shibuya, Harajuku, or Ginza, discover unique shops, quirky cafés, and find the perfect souvenirs to take home.

Day 14 – October 1: Tokyo – Mount Fuji – Tokyo

In the morning, we’ll depart towards the Mount Fuji region, Japan’s most iconic symbol and a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

We’ll enjoy some of the best panoramic views of Mount Fuji and its surroundings, stopping at several scenic pointsperfect for photos and unforgettable moments.

In the afternoon, return to Tokyo for free time — ideal for shopping, strolling around, or simply enjoying the city at your own pace.

Day 15 – October 2: Tokyo: Return Home

If any service included in the program is not used, it will not be refundable.

BOOKING AND CANCELLATION POLICY

Of the total amount, 20% of the trip cost is non-refundable under any circumstances, as it covers administrative expenses, service blockings, and trip management.

Full payment must be completed 45 days prior to the departure date.

A minimum of 10 participants is required for the group trip to be confirmed.

  • Cancellations made more than 45 days prior to departure: 20% of the total trip cost will be retained (non-refundable).
