Trip Itinerary
Day 1 – March 20: Welcome to Iceland!
We arrive in Iceland and transfer from the airport to our hotel in Reykjavik.
Accommodation in twin rooms (separate beds or double bed upon request), with private bathroom and breakfast included.
After check-in, we begin this adventure with a city tour of Reykjavik, Iceland’s charming capital — a small city full of personality, creativity, and unique corners.
During the tour, we will discover some of its most iconic landmarks, such as Harpa, the spectacular concert hall and conference centre facing the sea, famous for its modern architecture and glass design inspired by Iceland’s volcanic landscapes. We will also visit the impressive Hallgrímskirkja, the country’s most iconic church, whose silhouette dominates the skyline and has become one of Iceland’s most recognisable symbols.
We will stroll through the famous Rainbow Street, the colourful rainbow-painted street that brings a vibrant and artistic touch to the heart of Reykjavik, surrounded by shops, cafés, and the unique atmosphere of the world’s northernmost capital.
In the evening, we will experience one of the most anticipated moments of the trip: our first Northern Lights hunt.
Day 2 – March 21: Journey to the Snæfellsnes Peninsula
After breakfast, we depart towards Snæfellsnes, one of the most fascinating regions in Iceland, known for bringing together some of the country’s most spectacular landscapes.
Our first stop will be Borgarnes, a charming town with Viking history and a surrounding natural setting full of character.
We then continue to Ytri Tunga Beach, a very special spot where we can enjoy the Icelandic coastline and, with a bit of luck, observe seals in their natural habitat.
Later, we visit Búðakirkja, the famous Black Church, one of the most photogenic and iconic landmarks in Iceland.
We end the day facing the majestic Kirkjufell mountain, one of the country’s most recognisable icons — a truly magical place that becomes even more special as night falls and the Northern Lights appear.
Accommodation in a hotel in twin rooms (double or twin beds) with private bathroom.
Day 3 – March 23: Return to Reykjavik & Real Lava Experience
After breakfast, we return to Reykjavik and check in at our hotel.
Today we will enjoy a unique experience at Lava Show, a fascinating performance where we can see real molten lava up close and feel the raw power of Icelandic nature.
Later, we will have free time to explore the city at our own pace — discover its charming corners, visit local shops and cafés, or simply enjoy the atmosphere of the capital.
In the evening, we head out once again in search of one of the greatest treasures of the trip: the Northern Lights.
Day 4 – March 24: The Power of Nature in the Golden Circle
After breakfast, we set off towards the famous Golden Circle, one of Iceland’s most spectacular routes and an essential stop to discover some of the country’s most breathtaking landscapes.
Our first visit is Þingvellir National Park, a place full of history and natural beauty, where we can walk through unique scenery shaped by the separation of tectonic plates — one of the most iconic sites in Iceland.
We then continue to the geothermal area of Geysir, where the earth seems alive with steaming vents, boiling water, and otherworldly landscapes.
Next, we visit Gullfoss, one of Iceland’s most impressive waterfalls, famous for the powerful way its waters plunge into a dramatic and wild setting.
Later, we enjoy a relaxing moment at the Secret Lagoon, a charming natural hot spring, perfect to unwind and immerse ourselves in the magic of Iceland.
Day 5 – March 25: The Wild Magic of the South Coast
Today we explore Iceland’s spectacular South Coast, a region where waterfalls, cliffs, volcanic beaches, and small villages come together to create some of the most unforgettable landscapes of the journey.
Our first stop is Seljalandsfoss, one of the country’s most famous waterfalls, known for its beauty and the unique surroundings that allow you to walk behind the cascade.
We continue to Skógafoss, a powerful and impressive waterfall that captivates with its size, strength, and the energy it radiates when viewed up close.
Later, we visit Reynisfjara, the iconic black sand beach — a dramatic and fascinating place with basalt columns, powerful waves, and an almost otherworldly atmosphere.
We end the day in the charming village of Vík, surrounded by stunning scenery and considered one of the most special spots in southern Iceland.
And as night falls, we hope to witness the magic of the Northern Lights, with the excitement of seeing one of the most magical natural spectacles on Earth.
Day 6 – March 26: Ice, Unreal Landscapes & Adventure on the South Coast
After breakfast, we are welcomed by unforgettable scenery as we explore some of the most striking locations in southern Iceland.
We begin at the stunning Diamond Beach, where fragments of ice rest on black sand, creating a shimmering, unique and truly magical landscape.
We then continue to Dyrhólaey and its famous lighthouse, a privileged viewpoint offering spectacular views over the coastline. From here, we can also admire the curious rock formation known as Elephant Rock, one of those natural surprises that make Iceland such a special destination.
The adventure continues with a stop at the famous Sólheimasandur plane wreck, an enigmatic and highly photogenic site where Iceland’s raw nature creates an unforgettable scene.
At the end of the day, we return to the hotel to rest and wait for the Northern Lights.
Day 7 – March 27: Final Night in Iceland & Farewell Under the Northern Lights
After breakfast, we head towards Keflavík, where we will stay for our final night of this incredible Icelandic adventure.
Upon arrival and hotel check-in, we will enjoy a free afternoon to rest, take a leisurely walk, and pick up some souvenirs before returning home.
It will also be the perfect moment to pause and reflect on everything we have experienced — a week filled with unforgettable landscapes, intense emotions, and truly unique moments.
In the evening, we set out once again on our Northern Lights hunt and visit the charming Garður Old Lighthouse, a special seaside location that offers a magical setting to say goodbye to Iceland in the most memorable way.
